Privacy policy
This covers the splitshare.tech website only. It is short because this website collects very little: there is no form on it, no account to open, and no money moves through it.
Scope and who we are
This policy explains how Splitshare Technologies Private Limited ("Splitshare", "we", "us") handles information when you visit splitshare.tech and read about the company and its product.
Splitshare Technologies Private Limited is incorporated in India with its registered office in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
What this policy does not cover
The SplitStock product is governed by its own separate privacy policy, because it handles categories of data this website never touches: identity verification, transaction records and cross border data under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme. If you intend to use SplitStock, read that policy as well.
Splitshare Technologies Private Limited. CIN U74909UP2025PTC235707. GSTIN 09ABRCS7123D1Z3.
What we collect
There is no form on this website. We do not ask for your name, your email address or anything else in order for you to read it.
- Anything you send us directly. If you email us for press, investor or partnership reasons, we hold that correspondence. You chose to send it.
- Technical information from your visit. IP address, browser type, pages requested and approximate location, recorded automatically by the servers and network that deliver this site. This is ordinary web server logging.
We do not collect identity documents, financial account details or investment information on this website. That only happens inside the SplitStock product, if and when you choose to use it, under its own policy.
In plain terms
If you have never emailed us, the only thing we have about you is a line in a server log.
How we use it
- To answer enquiries you have sent us.
- To understand in aggregate how the site is used, so it can be improved.
- To keep the site secure and to investigate abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations as a registered Indian company.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Our legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where you contact us, we rely on your consent and on the legitimate use of responding to a request you initiated. Where we retain records to meet a statutory obligation, we rely on that obligation.

Cookies and tracking
This website uses essential browser storage only. No advertising cookies are set and no cross site tracking is performed. If that changes, this clause will be updated before the change ships rather than after it.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not prevent you from reading anything here.
Who we share information with
- Service providers such as our hosting and email providers, acting only on our instructions.
- Regulators and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
- Legal and safety where disclosure is necessary to comply with a law or valid legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted access to systems, and regular review of the accounts that hold company data. No system is completely secure. If you think information you sent us has been mishandled, tell us and we will investigate and tell you what we find.
Retention
Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns, and thereafter only where a statutory retention period applies. Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- Confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase it, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
Write to ceo@splitshare.tech and we will act on it. If we cannot, we will tell you why and on what legal basis.

Relationship to the SplitStock policy
Splitshare Technologies Private Limited is the parent company. This policy governs the splitshare.tech website only.
SplitStock, the product itself, is governed by its own separate privacy policy at splitstock.in/privacy. That document is the one that deals with identity verification, transaction data, and the sharing with banking and brokerage partners that cross border investing requires. The two are deliberately separate documents because they cover genuinely different processing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the company and its regulatory position change. The updated version is posted here with a new effective date, and where a change is material we will make reasonable efforts to say so rather than quietly swapping the text.
